Woodpigeon aka Mark Andrew Hamilton will hit the road next month supporting Patrick Wolf on his upcoming North American 10th Anniversary Tour, which kicks off September 18 in Philadelphia and runs through October 4 in Los Angeles (all dates below). Hamilton moved from Calgary to Vienna in 2011 where he has kept busy on the road, supporting such artists as Andrew Bird and Junip, thus these upcoming dates will mark Woodpigeon’s first in his native Canada since 2010 and his first ever in the United States.

In support of the tour, Woodpigeon has premiered a cover of the Paul McCartney + Michael Jackson hit, “Say Say Say”, feat. Louise and The Pins, available for free download now at Bandcamp. The track is featured on the album, DIAMONDS, available exclusively on this upcoming tour – track listing below.

C’était en mars de l’an dernier, me semble-t-il, David avait quelques tournages au compteur et Julien signait sa première prise de son. Exclaim.ca is premiering the title-track, available for free download here. Led by songwriter Mark Andrew Hamilton, For Paolo was inspired by his parents, the cassette tapes they played on long, family drives across the prairies of Canada. Hamilton said, “My parents were always the type to find an artist and album they liked and then listen to it non-stop in the car for years.
