Holy crap, it’s been hot. But now the leaves are changing colours, and it’s back into fall clothes. That’s where the WP shines most: the autumnal wardrobe. And so, some shows! Hello Finland, IE, UK, DE, IT, and a victory lap show with Sandro Perri, producer of the currently in-progress WP 2015 album in Toronto, which we’ll finish on 11 October. This summer, Scotland’s mighty Lost Map Records‘ LOST CAT tape series features the final round in the eternal battle between Woodpigeon and old foes Eagleowl. Both sides feature newly-recorded versions of old songs and, in the words of Lost Map’s Johnny Lynch, “Eagleowl’s side is like a hazy sun-warped sepia dream, and Woodpigeon’s is like campfire sparks kissing your face.”
