The Salon Series is inspired by the salons of 18th century France. Encouraging the exchange of creative ideas, the salon focused and reflected on enlightened public opinion. By the mid-1700s, the salon had become an institution in French society and functioned as a major channel of communication among artists and intellectuals.

Hosted by members of Woodpigeon, the Salon Series is a new concert program set within the comforts of their own homes. Intimate and informal, the Salon is a place where friends can gather, enjoy fine cuisine and libations, and listen to music without having to set foot in a bar. Each program will be hosted by a different band member and feature a new repertoire of pieces.
